Man, are all English teachers this much of a pain!!?? Are they all stuck up and full of themselves?
My teacher asked us to make a blog to post some assignments on. I did. I think I did a pretty good job on it. Guess what she gave me for a grade on it? A BIG fat F. Yeah. An F for completing my assignment? Does that make any sense? I had to email her TWICE to get an explanation from her. Her explanation you ask? I didn't send her a link to my blog site. I sent her a link to the blog post she asked us to turn in. She has my link up on her website. She has my link. I still have an F. I sent her an email back apologizing for not sending the correct link and sent her the link that she wanted in the same email. I still have an F. Now I ask again, does that make ANY sense? She makes comments on my blog, and so far they have all been positive, but I still have an F. It brought my grade down a whole letter grade! Stupid F.
Anyway, I'm just a little upset by this. Wouldn't you be?
GOOD NEWS!!!!!!
DJ and I BOTH have jobs in Arkansas as of today AND we are probably getting a really nice apartment really close to where we both work :) As soon as we move in I'll post pictures....if I remember ;)
Well that's all for now folks. Hope all is well!

In defense of all English teachers, no, we're not all morons. Sorry about your grade. That doesn't seem to make sense to me. You need me for your English teacher. If only...
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, congrats on both of your jobs. Hope all goes well with moving and starting your new adventures!
Yes. If only. Do you teach? I don't understand her reasoning, but what can I do? Send her hate mail until she changes it? Probably not a good idea. Thanks Sara!
ReplyDeleteI used to teach 7th Grade English and then Freshman College English. But now I just teach preschool at home :) and help out other kids (usually Seniors on their college admissions essay), if they need it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I wish your teacher would give you a second chance.
