Tornado!

Well I'm obviously not very good at keeping this blog updated...

A few days ago I had my first experience with tornado weather like never before. I grew up in the East, so this weather is completely new to me.
I got to work just before 6pm. I no sooner walked in the door and was telling Rebecca (my co-worker) that on the radio they had just announced we were under a tornado warning, when the sirens went off. Being at a gas station, we had to shut the store down. We set to locking everything and telling people we were closed. As soon as we were done we had to RUN to Walmart (Murphy USA gas stations are in the parking lots of Walmart) in the pouring rain. Walmart was having everyone go to the back of the store. There were maybe...150 people. I never saw it but the hail was LOUD. People said it was bigger than a grape but smaller than a golf ball (a few towns over it was golf ball size). After 20 minutes packed into the back of Walmart they let people leave but there was still a chance for another tornado. It was CRAZY! I was really disappointed that I didn't get to see anything though :(
The rest of the night went by uneventful.
